Hi, I’m Hollie.
I’m a mum of two, a childcare professional, and the person behind Hollie’s Little Explorers Co.
I’ve spent many years working with children, dreaming up imaginative games, challenges and open-ended activities to make everyday moments more exciting.
Over those years, I’ve learnt what children genuinely enjoy. I’ve seen which ideas capture their attention, which ones get their imaginations going and, most importantly, which ones they ask to do again and again.
That experience is at the heart of everything I create.
They aren’t simply activities created to fill the pages of a book. They’re inspired by years of real play, real children and the things I’ve seen work time and time again.
Hands-on adventures with no one right way to play.
One of the biggest things children have taught me is that the best activities don’t always need lots of instructions.
Sometimes they just need a starting point.
Give a child something interesting to investigate, create, build or experiment with and you never quite know where their imagination will take it.
That’s why open-ended play sits at the heart of Hollie’s Little Explorers. Our books encourage children to explore, experiment, create, investigate and imagine, while leaving plenty of room for their own ideas along the way.
Ideas to get them started. Imagination does the rest.
Created by a childcare professional. Made with family life in mind.
As a mum of two, I know the other side of it too.
I know parents want their children to have exciting, meaningful experiences — but I also know that real family life is busy. A great activity shouldn’t need hours of preparation or a huge list of things to buy before the fun can begin.
I want Hollie’s Little Explorers to feel like having an experienced childcare professional in your corner, sharing the kinds of ideas I’ve spent years creating with children.
Ideas that encourage curiosity. Ideas that inspire independence. And, most importantly, ideas children actually want to do.
Here’s to more curious little minds.
More exploring. More creating. More “What happens if…?” More adventures hiding in ordinary days.
Start with an activity. See where their imagination goes.
